Jubilee! is a long-running Las Vegas Strip-based burlesque show. It opened in August of 1981 and is currently produced by Donn Arden. As of 2006, this resident show at Bally's Las Vegas is the longest-running production show in Las Vegas. The Jubilee! showgirls are an icon of old Vegas. The show uses costumes designed by Bob Mackie and Pete Menefee. Many of the show's sets date back to the original production and include the sinking of the Titanic.

Das Jubeljahr des mittelalterlichen Christentums wurde alle 50 Jahre als besonders Heiliges Jahr ausgerufen, in dem ein besonderer Sünden-Ablass möglich war. Die Periode wurde immer weiter verringert bis sie schließlich die heute üblichen 25 Jahre erreichte.Daraus abgeleitet ist die Redenwendung alle Jubeljahre einmal, was soviel heißt wie „extrem selten“, da der Mensch in der Regel nur zwei bis drei dieser Jubeljahre erlebt(e). Das Jubeljahr hieß ursprünglich Jobeljahr. Das hebräische Wort Jobel (yo-bale') steht für den Klang des Schofars, der das Jubeljahr ankündigt.

Jubileusz – rocznica wydarzenia, wyróżniająca się liczbowo w jakiś charakterystyczny sposób, dzięki czemu istnieje okazja do szczególnie uroczystych obchodów, a czasem także do refleksji nad minionym okresem, przeprowadzenia kampanii informacyjnej lub promocyjnej, podjęcia nowych zobowiązań itp.Najczęściej jest to tzw. "okrągła" rocznica, czyli liczba lat zamykająca jakiś wyrazisty przedział liczbowy. Z początku, przy małym przedziale czasowym, jubileuszami mogą być nawet kolejne rocznice - o ile istnieje zapotrzebowanie na ich szczególne świętowanie, z czasem okazje do jubileuszy stają się coraz rzadsze. Największymi jubileuszami są kolejne pełne rzędy wielkości, czyli wartości 10, 100, 1000, następnie ich połowy, a potem pierwsze ćwiartki, jeszcze mniejszymi jubileuszami są inne liczby kończące się zerami, lub piątką, i tak np. huczniejszymi jubileuszami są wartości 25 czy 250 niż 20 czy 200.
