Introducing Broker

A person (other than a person registered as an associated person of a futures commission merchant who is engaged in soliciting or in accepting orders for the purchase or sale of any commodity for future delivery on an exchange who does not accept any money, securities, or property to margin, guarantee, or secure any trades or contracts that result therefrom.
  

Corrector de Apresentação
Um indivíduo ou empresa que pode executar todas as funções de um corrector excepto uma. Um IB não pode aceitar dinheiro, títulos ou propriedade do cliente. Um IB deve estar registado na CFTC e conduzir a sua actividade através de uma FCM de forma aberta.

An individual or firm who can perform all the functions of a broker except one. An IB is not permitted to accept money, securities, or property from a customer. An IB must be registered with the CFTC, and conduct its business through an FCM on a fully disclosed basis.

Einführender Broker
Personen oder Firmen, die alle Mak-lertätigkeiten ausführen, ausser der Annahme von Geld, Wertpapieren oder anderen Wertgegenständen von einem Kunden. Ein IB muss bei der CFTC registriert sein und übermittelt die Termingeschäfte an einen regulären Broker (Futures Commission Merchant).
