International relations

International relations, a branch of political science, is the study of foreign affairs and global issues among states within the international system, including the roles of states, inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations (MNCs). It is both an academic and public policy field, and can be either positive or normative as it both seeks to analyze as well as formulate the foreign policy of particular states.

Le terme de Politique internationale fait appel au comportement d'un pays sur l'échiquier international, ses choix diplomatique. La diplomatie étant, en politique internationale, l'art de tirer le plus d'avantages possibles pour sa nation. Art de réclamer, art de concéder : chaque choix, concession, aide, neutralité se monnayant ; chaque exigence, opposition, ou irrespect se payant un jour. La politique étant la "Conduite des affaires publiques", elle a pour but le maintien de l'ordre et l'amélioration de la situation, ici, celle de l'État français face aux États concurrents. Mais c'est une course. La politique internationale d'un État cherche donc à renforcer -plus que les autres- sa position, son influence, tant par le commerce, que par l'armée ou la religion. La politique internationale a également pour but de satisfaire l'opinion publique intérieure, qui, et se réfère souvent au propre passé du pays (l'empire Français pour la métropole française actuelle, etc.).

Politique Internationale est une revue française d'analyse des relations internationales. Elle a été fondée par Patrick Wajsman en 1978. Cette revue qui n'est pas une revue universitaire est lues principalement par les grands décideurs. Au cours des vingt-neuf dernières années, Politique Internationale a publié des interviews de très nombreux chefs d’État

Stosunki międzynarodowe (ang. international relations) jest to wielopłaszczyznowy i wieloaspektowy układ stosunków między ludźmi oraz nauka zajmująca się badaniami tej dziedziny. Obejmują one stosunki nie tylko między narodami, ale również między innymi uczestnikami – zarówno tymi, którzy są podmiotami prawa międzynarodowego, jak i tymi, którzy tej podmiotowości nie mają. Są to w pierwszym rzędzie państwa i organizacje międzynarodowe (rządowe i pozarządowe). Wyróżnia się stosunki międzynarodowe dwustronne (bilateralne) i wielostronne (multilateralne). W kręgu uczestników stosunków międzynarodowych (poza państwami i organizacjami międzynarodowymi) znajdują się także inne strony stosunków międzynarodowych: ruchy polityczne o charakterze międzynarodowym,korporacje wielonarodowe,Kościół i ruchy religijne, zawodowe organizacje międzynarodowe,narody, grupy ludzi,niekiedy jednostki fizyczne.

De studie van Internationale betrekkingen is een tak van de politieke wetenschap die zich ten doel stelt de buitenlandse betrekkingen en betrekkingen tussen staten te onderzoeken. Hierbij wordt ook gekeken naar de rol van staten, inter-gouvernementele organisaties (IGO's), non-gouvernementele organisaties (NGO's) en multinationale ondernemingen . Het is zowel een veld van academische studie als van openbare politiek. Met het oog hierop wordt zowel de buitenlandse politiek geanalyseerd alsook beleid geformuleerd.
