Die Internationale Finanz-Corporation (engl. International Finance Corporation – IFC) ist eine Gesellschaft der Weltbankgruppe mit Sitz in Washington (D.C.).Die 1956 gegründete IFC hat die Aufgabe, zur Verringerung der Armut in den weniger entwickelten Ländern beizutragen, indem sie das Wachstum des privaten Sektors fördert und bei der Mobilisierung von Inlands- und Auslandskapital Hilfe gewährt. Zu diesem Zweck übernimmt sie ohne Garantien des jeweiligen Landes Beteiligungen an privaten Unternehmen beziehungsweise gewährt diesen Kredite. Sie übernimmt dabei eine wichtige Katalysatorrolle für weitere private Investitionen in Entwicklungsländern. Die IFC ist bestrebt, die Aktivitäten in den ärmeren Entwicklungsregionen auszuweiten.

La Società finanziaria internazionale (in inglese International Finance Corporation - IFC) è un'agenzia della Banca internazionale per la ricostruzione e lo sviluppo (BIRS). Fondata nel 1956 allo scopo di promuovere lo sviluppo dell'industria privata nei paesi in via di sviluppo attraverso l'erogazione di appositi investimenti e la mediazione verso il mercato internazionale del credito, l'IFC opera - in collaborazione con investitori privati - fornendo alle imprese private che dimostrino di poter essere efficienti, capitale proprio e capitale obbligazionario; gli investimenti dell'IFC, esclusivamente a copertura parziale delle risorse finanziarie richieste dai progetti interessati, sono sempre cofinanziati da istituti bancari privati e non sono garantiti dai governi.
