Indianapolis, Indiana

Indianapolis (IPA: ) is the capital city of the U.S. state of Indiana, and the county seat of Marion County, Indiana. The 2000 Census counted the city's population at 791,926. It is Indiana's most populous city and is the 13th largest city in the U.S., the third largest city in the Midwest, and the second most populous Capital in the U.S. (including Washington D.C.), behind Phoenix, Arizona.
