IGE (Internet Gaming Entertainment) was one of the largest services company buying and selling virtual currencies and accounts for MMORPG. During its peak time, it had offices in Los Angeles, China (Shanghai), and headquarters & customer service centre in Hong Kong. IGE was one of the main monopoly in virtual economy services, also known in the MMORPG industry as 'secondary market'. Members of the gaming community were often critical of IGE, as its services 'may' allow players to break rules in online games. After its reformation in 2007 by Jonathan Yantis, IGE remains one of the top leading virtual currency providers as of today.

Immunoglobulin E (IgE) is a class of antibody (or immunoglobulin "isotype") that has been found only in mammals. IgE is a dimeric antibody with 4 Ig-like domains (Ce1-Ce4). Its main function is immunity to parasites such as parasitic worms like Schistosoma mansoni, Trichinella spiralis, and Fasciola hepatica, and may be important during immune defense against certain protozoan parasites such as Plasmodium falciparum.

Als Immunglobulin E (IgE) bezeichnet man einen Antikörper, der in erster Linie Parasiten abwehren soll. Er ist auch verantwortlich für Allergien.

L'immunoglobuline E (IgE) est une classe d'anticorps (isotype) présente uniquement chez les mammifères et qui a été découverte et caractérisée par Kimishige Ishizaka - ce qui lui a valu le Prix Japonais de l'an 2000. Bien que les IgE soient normalement rares, elles sont capables de déclencher de puissantes réactions immunitaires. La plupart de nos connaissances sur cette classe d'anticorps provient de recherches sur les mécanismes de certaines allergies.

Immunglobulin klass E, IgE, utgör antikroppar som tidigare kallades reaginer. IgE produceras av plasmaceller och kan binda till receptorer på mastceller och basofila granulocyter och därvid framkalla kraftiga inflammatoriska och allergiska reaktioner då en IgE-antikropp möter sitt motsvarande antigen.  Atopi kallas den ärftliga benägenheten att bilda IgE-antikroppar mot naturligt förekommande antigener i miljön.

W "naturalnej" reakcji immunologicznej IgE stanowią przeciwciała szczególnie istotne w obronie przeciwpasożytniczej, co wiąże się z indukcją wydzielania histaminy przez bazofile i eozynofile. Te same reakcje są odpowiedzialne za rozwój alergii, która powstaje, gdy IgE łączą się z nieszkodliwymi antygenami, czyli alergenami i uruchamiają gwałtownie reakcje przeciwpasożytnicze. Z tego też wynika zainteresowanie badaczy immunoglobulinami E oraz próby leczenia alergii przez zahamowanie wydzielania samych przeciwciał lub zahamowania wywołanych przez nie skutków. Badanie poziomu IgE może być także skuteczne w diagnostyce chorób alergicznych i pasożytniczych.
