It was also sometimes an epithet of Cybele, referring to Mt. Ida in Asia Minor, a center of her cult.Idaea is also the name of her great-granddaughter, the offspring of Bateia (daughter of Teucrus) and Dardanus, and second wife of Phineas [1][2]
