IUPAC

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) is an international non-governmental organization established in 1919 devoted to the advancement of chemistry. It has as its members national chemistry societies. It is most well known as the recognized authority in developing standards for the naming of the chemical elements and their compounds, through its Interdivisional Committee on Nomenclature and Symbols (IUPAC nomenclature). It is a member of the International Council for Science (ICSU).

L’Union internationale de chimie pure et appliquée (UICPA, en anglais IUPAC = International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) est une organisation non gouvernementale qui s'intéresse aux progrès en chimie. Elle a pour membres des sociétés nationales de chimie. C'est l'autorité reconnue pour le développement de règles à adopter pour la nomenclature, les symboles et la terminologie des éléments chimiques et de leurs dérivés, par le biais de son Comité interdivisionnel de la nomenclature et des symboles (en anglais : Interdivisional Committee on Nomenclature and Symbols) qui fixe la nomenclature IUPAC. Elle est membre du Conseil international des sciences (en anglais : International Council for Science = ICSU).

Die International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), zu deutsch „Internationale Union für reine und angewandte Chemie“, wurde im Jahr 1919 von Chemikern aus der Industrie und von den Universitäten gegründet. Ziel war es, die weltweite Kommunikation der Chemiker untereinander zu ermöglichen und zu fördern. Die IUPAC ist seit langem als die bestimmende Institution anerkannt, wenn es sich um verbindliche Empfehlungen zu Nomenklatur, Symbolen, Terminologie, standardisierten Messmethoden, Werte für molare Massen der chemischen Elemente in natürlicher Isotopengemisch-Zusammensetzung und viele andere Themen in Bereichen der Chemie handelt. Die IUPAC gibt die Zeitschrift "Pure and Applied Chemistry" heraus.

Międzynarodowa Unia Chemii Czystej i Stosowanej (ang. International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, w skrócie IUPAC [jupak]) – międzynarodowa organizacja zajmująca się przede wszystkim standaryzacją symboliki, nazewnictwa i wzorców wielkości fizycznych stosowanych przez chemików na całym świecie. IUPAC è l'acronimo di International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (in italiano Unione Internazionale di Chimica Pura ed Applicata). La IUPAC è una organizzazione non governativa internazionale, dedita al progresso della chimica. I suoi membri sono le varie società chimiche nazionali. È un'autorità riconosciuta che si riunisce periodicamente per aggiornare le regole riguardanti la nomenclatura chimica degli elementi e dei composti, attraverso il Comitato Interdivisionale per la Nomenclatura e i Simboli. È inoltre un membro del Consiglio Internazionale per le Scienze (ICSU).
