The European Region of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (short name: ILGA-Europe) is the European branch of
ILGA, created in 1996.ILGA-Europe works for human rights and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people at European level. This
Brussels-based organisation is lobbying European institutions, primarily the
European Union, the
OSCE and the
Council of Europe.
