IDeaS
iDeaS is a
Nintendo DS emulator that can run a few commercial NDS games on a
Windows PC with
OpenGL. So far iDeaS has emulated the
ARM7 GBA processor at 100%, and the
ARM9 dual screen processor at 90%. The touch screen is fully emulated with a cursor instead of a hand, and a keyboard can be used to emulate the DS buttons. iDeaS uses a plugin system that originally came from the
UltraHLE N64 emulator so that further support can achieved without looking at the source code of the emulator. There are three plugins currently available: one for the 3D graphics, one for AVI Capture, and one for sound. The audio plugin has been updated to version 1.0.0.1 beta. All of these are available to download on the homepage.

アジア経済研究所開発スクール(IDEAS, nstitute of Developing Economies Advanced School)は、1990年に通商産業省(現
経済産業省)の意向により、
アジア経済研究所(アジ研)に設置された
途上国の
開発問題専門家の養成機関である。1年制。アジ研の
曙橋時代には、研究所の建物(経済協力センタービル)に入ることができず、付近の雑居ビルに入居していた。
(海浜)幕張移転後になって、ようやく研究所と同居できるようになった。授業は全て英語で行なわれ、レベル的には
修士課程に相当するカリキュラムが組まれている。科目は
経済学・
統計学が中心。日本人に関しては、1年間の研修後、海外の
大学院へ進学することが想定されている。外国人に関しては、多くが途上国政府から推薦された官僚および研究者が入学することが多い。しかし、
文部科学省の認可は得ておらず、正式な大学院ではない。IDEASに類する組織としては、神戸大学、筑波大学、広島大学に設けられた国際協力研究科がある。2006年、(各省の独法評価委員会の上位に位置する)
総務省の
独立行政法人評価委員会は、これらの大学院とIDEASが重複していると指摘している。ただし、これらの大学院と比べてもIDEASの方が入学生(特に日本人学生)の質、卒業後の進路でも勝っていると評価する向きもある。一方、アジ研内部では、教学の負担が研究生活上のデメリットであると感じる研究者もおり、IDEAS不要論が存在することも確かである。

inglés, Algoritmo Internacional de Cifrado de Datos) es un
cifrador por bloques diseñado por Xuejia Lai (?) y James L. Massey de la
Escuela Politécnica Federal de Zúrich y descrito por primera vez en
1991. Fue un
algoritmo propuesto como reemplazo del
DES (Data Encryption Standard) . IDEA fue una revisión menor de PES (Proposed Encryption Standard, del inglés Estándar de Cifrado Propuesto), un algoritmo de cifrado anterior. Originalmente IDEA había sido llamado IPES (Improved PES, del inglés PES Mejorado).
