Huesca (province)
Huesca (Aragonese: Uesca, Catalan: Osca) is a province of northeastern Spain, in the northern part of the autonomous community of Aragon. It is bordered by the provinces of LleidaZaragoza, and Navarra, and by France (Departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées).Its area is 15,636 km². Its population is 218,023 (2006), and its population density is 13.94/km². It contains 202 municipalities.Its capital is the city of Huesca, where about one-fifth of the population resides.
