proteins
. True horns are found only among the
ruminant
artiodactyls
, in the families
Antilocapridae

pronghorn
) and
Bovidae
(
cows

buffalo
,
yaks

goats
,
antelope
etc.). Those animals have one or two pairs of horns, which usually have a
spiral
shape.
