Hooglied
Het Hooglied is een van de boeken in het Oude Testament respectievelijk de Tenach. Binnen de Tenach maakt het Hooglied onderdeel uit van de Geschriften en daarbinnen is het een van de vijf feestrollen (Megillot).

De Hebreeuwse naam Shir-HaShirim betekent letterlijk lied der liederen, waarmee mooiste lied wordt bedoeld. Maarten Luther vertaalde dat als Hohes Lied, en daaruit ontstond de gebruikelijke Nederlandse naam Hooglied.

In de Griekse Septuaginta wordt het boek ASMA (het lied) genoemd naar de Griekse letters van de eerste woorden, in de Latijnse Vulgata Canticum Canticorum dat lied der liederen betekent.
