Hiro Yamamoto
Hiro Yamamoto (born April 13, 1961 in Seattle, Washington) is an American bassist who was a founding member of grunge band Soundgarden, along with Kim Thayil and Chris Cornell in 1984. He left the band in 1990 and one year later he started the independent rock band Truly together with Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel and Robert Roth from The Storybook Krooks.

Hiro Yamamoto
Hiro Yamamoto, född 13 april 1961, är en amerikansk musiker, basist i Soundgarden från bildandet 1984 till 1990. Han bildade senare bandet Truly, tillsammans med trummisen Mark Pickerel och sångaren Robert Roth.

Hiro Yamamoto (Seattle, 13 april 1961) is een Amerikaanse bassist van Japanse komaf.

Hij was samen met Chris Cornell en Kim Thayil één van de oprichters van de grunge band Soundgarden. In 1989 stopte hij met de band om zich op zijn studie te richten. In 1991 voegde hij zich bij de indie-band Truly.
