Hippie

The hippie subculture was a youth movement that began in the United States during the mid-1960s and spread around the world. The word "hippie" derives from word "hipster", and was initially used to describe beatniks who had moved into San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district. These people inherited the countercultural values of the Beat Generation, created their own communities, listened to psychedelic rock, embraced the sexual revolution, and used drugs like cannabis and LSD to explore consciousness.

Le terme hippie (ou hippy, synonyme de baba cool ) désigne les femmes et les hommes qui, entre les années 1965 et 1975, ont globalement rejeté le mode de vie traditionnel de leurs parents. Il est également utilisé pour qualifier, à tort ou à raison, un mouvement de contre-culture qui caractérise cette décennie. Touchant la majorité de la génération nombreuse née du baby-boom de l'après-guerre, ce mouvement eut un impact d'autant plus grand sur des sociétés occidentales auparavant vieillissantes.

Als Hippies (abgeleitet von engl. hip = „angesagt“) bezeichnet man Mitglieder einer gegenkulturellen Jugendbewegung, die in den 1960er Jahren entstand und sich an den Lebensstil der Hipster der 1950er Jahre anlehnte. Die ursprünglichen Hippies trugen ihre Kultur 1967 symbolisch zu Grabe, als die Hippiekultur mit dem Summer of Love von der Nischenkultur zur Massenkultur wurde und eine dominante Jugendkultur blieb, bis sie in den späten 1970er Jahren vom Punk abgelöst wurde. Der Autor Barry Miles sieht den Kern der Hippiezeit in den Jahren von 1965 bis 1971.

Ruch hippisowski, hippisi, dzieci kwiaty (ang.: hippie,-s; to be hip – żyć na bieżąco, dniem dzisiejszym) – kontrkultura kontestacyjna II połowy lat 60. i początku lat 70. XX wieku. Była to rewolucja proklamująca bunt młodych przeciwko światu dorosłych (nie wierzcie nikomu po trzydziestce) i jego instytucjom: rodzinie, Kościołowi, szkole, pracy, szefom, rywalizacji, pieniądzowi, wojsku, wojnie, normom, przymusom, zakazom (zakazuje się zakazywać), domniemanej hipokryzji, konwencji ubioru, własności prywatnej (życie w komunach). Przejaw kontrkultury odrzucającej normy społeczne oparte na konsumpcji, rywalizacji i materializmie. Instytucje i struktury, którym się sprzeciwiali, hippisi określali jako establishment. Mimo akcentu tego ruchu na zwalczanie obowiązujących konwencji ubioru, sam także wykreował specyficzny gatunek mody.

Hippy (scritto anche Hippie) era in origine un movimento giovanile che ha avuto inizio negli Stati Uniti nel corso degli anni 60 e diffusosi in tutto il mondo. La parola Hippy deriva dal temine hipster, che era stato inizialmente utilizzato per descrivere i beatniks, la generazione ribelle che si era trasferita a San Francisco, nel distretto di Haight-Ashbury. Queste persone, hanno ulteriormente "evoluto" il concetto di ribellione in stile anni 50, creando nuove comunità, ascoltando rock psichedelico, abbracciando la rivoluzione sessuale e l'uso di allucinogeni  LSD,e droghe leggere quali marijuana e hashish , non solo per fini ricreativi ma anche e sopratutto per l'esplorazione della coscienza.
