religions du monde encore pratiquées. Son origine remonte à la
civilisation de l'Indus (Shindou), première manifestation de la culture indienne apparue aux environs du III millénaire av. J.-C. Avec plus de 900 millions de fidèles, l'hindouisme est actuellement la troisième religion la plus répandue dans le monde (après le
christianisme qui compte environ 2,2 milliards de fidèles et l’
islam 1,35 milliard).
