Hindu (; Devanagari:हिंदू) refers to an identity associated with the philosophical, religious and cultural systems that are indigenous to the Indian subcontinent. As used in the Constitution of India, the word "Hindu" is also attributed to all persons professing any Indian religion (i.e. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism or Sikhism). In common use today, it refers to an adherent of Hinduism.

It also includes historical groups, for example the Kapalikas. Hindú Club founded in 1919, is a sports club based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mostly known for its rugby union team (which is member of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires), the club hosts other activities such as football, tennis, golf and bridge.
