Hindú Club founded in 1919, is a sporting club in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Among the sports that are organised through the club are rugby union, hockey, golf, soccer and Tennis. Their rugby team won the 1996, 1998 and 2006 Buenos Aires Tournament. as well as the 2005 National Provincial Championship for rugby union.Famous players include Argentina internationals Gonzalo Quesada, Nicolás Fernández Miranda, Juan Fernández Miranda, Lucas Ostiglia and Horacio Agulla.

Hindoeïsme Hindoeïsme dankt zijn naam aan de Perzische uitspraak van het volk dat aan de rivier Sindu van de Indusvallei woonde zo'n 3000 tot 4000 jaar geleden. De benaming is afgeleid van het Perzisch woord hindoe, dat "rivier" betekent. Sindu is Hindoe geworden doordat de letter S klank van het Perzische alfabet van toentertijd werd gearticuleerd naar H.
