Eleventh grade (called Grade 11 in some regions, also known as junior year in the U.S.) is a year of
education in the
United States and many other nations.Students are usually 16–17 years old. Eleventh grade is the next-to-last year of secondary school. Junior is a student in the eleventh grade in high school. Many students take the
SAT Reasoning Test and/or
ACT in the second half of their 11th-grade year. Typically during this year, students interested in attending higher education facilities, tend to search at around the second part of that year.
