Henry's law
In chemistry, Henry's law is one of the gas laws, formulated by William Henry. It states that:At a constant temperature, the amount of a given gas dissolved in a given type and volume of liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid.

Henry's Law (Henry's law constant)
Henry's law predicts that the solubility (C) of a gas or volatile substance in a liquid is proportional to the partial pressure (P) of the substance over the liquid:
P = k C
where k is called the Henry's law constant and is characteristic of the solvent and the solute.
