Held
Ein Held (althochdeutsch helido) ist eine (meist männliche) Person mit besonders herausragenden Fähigkeiten oder Eigenschaften, die sie zu besonders hervorragenden Leistungen, sog. Heldentaten, treibt. Dabei kann es sich um reale oder fiktive Personen handeln, also um Gestalten der Geschichte, aber auch der Legende oder Sage. Die Taten des Helden bescheren ihm entsprechenden Heldenruhm. Seine heldischen Fähigkeiten können von körperlicher Art (Kraft, Schnelligkeit, Ausdauer etc.) oder auch geistiger Natur sein (Mut, Aufopferungsbereitschaft, Einsatzbereitschaft für Ideale oder Mitmenschen). Helden stehen meist in einem Gegensatz zum Schurken oder Feigling (Neiding).
