Hebrew alphabet

Five of these letters have a different form when appearing as the last letter in a word. The Hebrew letters are used in mildly adapted forms for writing several languages of the Jewish diaspora, most famously Yiddish, Ladino, and Judeo-Arabic (for a full and detailed list, see Jewish languages). Hebrew is written from right to left.

Alfabet hebrajski - alfabet stosowany do zapisu języka hebrajskiego, jidysz i ladino (historycznie również jęz. aramejskiego), wywodzący się z alfabetu aramejskiego, a pośrednio z egipskich hieroglifów. Składa się z 22 znaków, a w przeciwieństwie do alfabetu łacińskiego nie rozróżnia się w nim liter małych i wielkich.

L'alfabeto ebraico è l'alfabeto con cui vengono scritte le lingue ebraica, yiddish, ladina giudeo-spagnola (non il ladino dolomitico) e altre lingue ebraiche utilizzate dagli ebrei nel mondo.Viene scritto da destra verso sinistra e consta di 22 lettere consonanti, di cui due ( ו vav e י yod) semiconsonanti. Alcune consonanti hanno una forma differente se finali di parola. Le consonanti א e עnon hanno suono proprio, ma servono per appoggiare la vocale susseguente. La pronuncia di alcune consonanti si modifica a seconda della presenza vocalica.
