Hajdú-Bihar County
Hajdú-Bihar is an administrative county (comitatus or megye) in eastern Hungary, on the border with Romania. It shares borders with the Hungarian counties Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Békés. The capital of Hajdú-Bihar county is Debrecen. Together with Bihor County in Romania it constitutes the Biharia Euroregion.

Komitat Hajdú-Bihar
Hajdú-Bihar [] ist ein Komitat (Verwaltungsbezirk) in Ostungarn. Er grenzt im Osten an Rumänien sowie an die Komitate Békés, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén und Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. Es hat eine Fläche von 6.211 km² und (2001) 544.582 Einwohner. Der Komitatssitz ist Debrecen.

Hajdú-Bihar
Hajdú Bihar est le département de l'est de la Hongrie, entre la Tisza et la frontière avec la Roumanie, dont la ville principale est Debrecen. C'est sur son territoire que se sont établis les trois tribus des Khazars venus en Pannonie avec les sept tribus magyars. Le comitat de Bihar s'étendait largement au Sud-Est de ses limites actuelles à l'époque du royaume de Hongrie, et avait pour préfecture l'actuelle ville roumaine d'Oradea (Nagyvárad en hongrois).

Komitat Hajdú-Bihar
Zachodnie pas terenów komitatu leży w dolinie Cisy, należącej do Międzyrzecza Dunaju i Cisy. Środkowa i wschodnia część komitatu to pas równin należących do Kraju Zacisańskiego (Tiszántul): Hortobágy, południowy skrawek Nyírség, Hajduság i północna część Wielkiego Sárrét (Nagy-Sárrét). Główne rzeki komitatu to Cisa, Kösely, Konyári-Kálló, Berettyó i Szybki Keresz. Na terenie komitatu rozciąga się część wielkiej sieci kanałów melioracyjnych powstałych w toku regulacji Cisy.
