Hagrid

Rubeus Hagrid is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. The character is usually addressed only by his surname. Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds, the gamekeeper and, starting in Harry's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Care of Magical Creatures teacher there. Later in the series, it is revealed that Hagrid is also a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Hagrid was the first member of the Hogwarts staff to be introduced to Harry before he began attending the school. He was also one of the first characters to imply that the idea of thinking of wizards as "pure-bloods" and "half-bloods" is a dated concept.

Il en est aussi le garde-chasse et il enseigne les Soins aux Créatures magiques depuis le tome 3. Il est également membre de l'Ordre du Phénix depuis son origine. Rubeus Hagrid (ur. 6 grudnia 1928) - postać fikcyjna z serii Harry Potter autorstwa Joanne Kathleen Rowling. Hagrid jest strażnikiem kluczy w Szkole Magii i Czarodziejstwa Hogwart, prowadzi zajęcia z opieki nad magicznymi stworzeniami i cieszy się wielkim zaufaniem dyrektora szkoły, profesora Dumbledore, dla którego wykonuje zadania specjalne, wymagające dochowania tajemnicy. Hagrid jest pokaźnej postury, ma czarne oczy, czarne skręcone włosy i brodę, mówi z charakterystycznym akcentem. Jego cechą charakterystyczną jest fascynacja hodowlą niebezpiecznych zwierząt. Pierwszy przyjaciel Harry'ego.

Rubeus Hagrid is een personage uit de Harry Potterboeken van J.K. Rowling. De naam Hagrid komt duidelijk uit de Griekse mythologie. In de Griekse mythologie is Hagrid een god die eigenlijk van de godenberg de Olympus moest verdwijnen, maar door de oppergod Zeus werd aangesteld tot dierenbewaker. In Harry Potter en de Vuurbeker werd bekend dat Hagrid een halfreus is, zijn moeder was de reuzin Fridwulfa, zij verliet Hagrid’s tovenaarsvader toen hij een jaar of drie was. Hagrid heeft een halfbroer, een reus genaamd Groemp. Omdat reuzen een slechte reputatie hebben (ze zijn vreselijk brutaal en ze waren aanhangers van Heer Voldemort), houdt hij het geheim dat hij voor de helft een reus is.
