Dans le Coran, Hûd (arabe : hud, est le prophète de la tribu arabe des `Ad, arrière-petits-enfants de Noé. Sa ville est appelée Iram. Hûd est parfois considéré comme le patriarche Héber de la Bible (descendant Sem). Hûd est le titre de la sourate XI du Coran.

HUD - skrót od angielskiego Head-Up Display wyświetlacz przezierny prezentujący informacje na specjalnej szybie bez zasłaniania widoku. Początkowo technika ta miała tylko zastosowanie militarne, do prezentacji danych w samolotach bojowych, ale obecnie jest używana także dla celów cywilnych, między innymi w samolotach cywilnych, samochodach, motocyklach, a także rowerach.
