Guy Verhofstadt

(b. Guy Maurice Marie Louise Verhofstadt, April 11, 1953, in Dendermonde, Belgium) is a Belgian politician, municipal councillor in Ghent and current Prime Minister of Belgium. He is to step down as prime minister after his governing coalition lost in the 2007 elections. He put forth his resignation to King Albert II on June 11 2007.
