Gustaaf Willem van Imhoff
Gustaaf Willem, Baron van Imhoff (August 8, 1705 Leer–November 1, 1750) was the governor of Ceylon and then the Dutch East Indies for the Dutch East India Company (VOC-Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie).

Gustaaf Willem van Imhoff sr.
Gustaaf Willem baron van Imhoff (Leer (Duitsland), 8 augustus 1705 – Batavia, 1 november 1750) was een Oost-Fries edelman die carrière maakte in dienst van de VOC.
Van Imhoff was de zoon van Wilhelm Hinrich Freiherr von Imhoff en werd geboren in Leer (Oost-Friesland), net over de huidige Duits-Nederlandse grens.
Al vroeg trad hij in dienst van de VOC. Hij werd in 1725 als onderkoopman naar Batavia gestuurd en werd al snel bevorderd tot achtereenvolgens koopman (1726), opperkoopman (1729), waterfiscaal (1730) en buitengewoon Raad van Indië (1731).
