Gungnir

In Norse mythology, Gungnir (also Gungni, Gungner, or Gungrir) was the name of Odin's javelin. The javelin's name means "Unwavering One" for it always hit its mark. According to Snorri Sturluson's Skáldskaparmál the javelin was fashioned by those dwarves known as the Sons of Ivaldi under the mastery of the blacksmith dwarf Dvalin . It was obtained from the dwarves by Loki as a partial reparation for his theft of Sif's hair. It has the practical characteristic of always hitting the target it was hurled against. The war between the Aesir and the Vanir officially started when Odin threw a javelin over the heads of an assembly of Vanir gods. Whether or not this was Gungnir is unclear. This magical weapon symbolizes the importance of the javelin in the world view of the Norsemen (see more at Javelin in the Norsemen societies).

Dans la mythologie nordique, Gungnir (la frémissante) est la lance du dieu Odin. Elle a la caractéristique de frapper toujours sa cible et de revenir à la main du Dieu après qu'il l'a lancée. Elle fut fabriquée par un nain du nom de Dvalin. Gungnir fut prise aux nains par Loki en tant que réparation partielle pour le vol de la chevelure de Sif.

Gungnir ist der Name des Speeres von Odin, dem höchsten Gott der germanischen und nordischen Mythologie. Mit diesem Speer brachte er den ersten Krieg in die Welten (Asgard, Midgard und Utgard), als er ihn ins Heer der Wanen warf.Gungnir war ein Geschenk der Zwerge an Odin, dessen Überbringer Loki war. Es heißt, der Speer verfehlt sein Ziel nie und kehrt immer zu seinem Besitzer zurück (vgl. Mjölnir)

Gungnir (Gungni, Gungner, albo Gungrir) imię jednej z włóczni Odyna, która zawsze trafia w cel - stąd jej imię, które znaczy: "Niezachwiana". Według Skáldskaparmál Snorri Sturlusona  włócznia ta została wykonana przez Krasnoludy znane jako Synowie Ivaldi pod kierunkiem krasnoludzkiego mistrza kowalskiego Dvalina. Była też między innymi obiektem poszukiwań nazistowskiej organizacji Ahnerbe.

Gungnir (altre dizioni sono Gungni, Gungner e Gungrir, il termine in norreno significa letteralmente "oscillante") è, nella mitologia norrena, la lancia di Odino. Venne fabbricata da dei nani, detti figli di lvaldi, assieme ad altri tesori: la chioma dorata per Sif, moglie di Thor, e la nave Skíðblaðnir per Freyr.
