Green Tea Anemone
This green tea is made from quality spring-picked leaves, then hand tied into beautiful rosettes. Its Chinese name is Lu Mudan (Green Peony). This one was found in southern Anhui Province on a mountain where virtually every family grows tea. These teas are purchased from dozens of small farms, so some variation in taste might occur. As a magnificent display tea, this is to be enjoyed not only for its taste, but for its appearance as well. Simply place an entire rosette in a glass, add hot water and enjoy the show! An 8-12 oz wineglass will show the tea at its finest, and is ideal for savoring its sweet delicate taste. Green Tea Anemone can be enjoyed throughout a meal, adding additional hot water as needed. It won't become bitter from over-steeping - even after several hours of infusion.
