Greatest Hits - HIStory Volume I is a compilation album by Michael Jackson released in 2001 by Epic Records. This CD is a re-release of the first disc of Michael's double album HIStory: Past, Present and Future – Book I (originally released in 1995), which was a greatest hits disc, the first disc of "greatest hits" of Jackson's to be released by Epic Records. Released just two weeks after his new album in ten years, Invincible, Greatest Hits - HIStory had a lack of promotion and only peaked at #85 in the U.S. and #15 in the UK.
