Gozo is a small island of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is part of the Southern European country of Malta; after the island of Malta itself, it is the second-largest island in the archipelago. Compared to its southeastern neighbour, Gozo is more rural and known for its scenic hills, which are featured on its coat of arms.

Gozo (auf maltesisch Ghawdex, gesprochen Audesch []) ist die zweitgrößte Insel des Archipels der Republik Malta.

Gozo (gammalarabiska Għawdex = glädje, uttalas áw-desh) är en ö i den maltesiska arkipelagen och den näst största efter huvudön Malta och ingår i nationen Malta. Gozo har en yta på 67 km² och hade år 2003 ett invånarantal på 30.750 varav 6.635 bodde i öns största stad Rabat, även kallad Victoria. (Rabat betyder "förstad" eller numer "förort", Det finns även en Rabat på huvudön Malta.) Ön är förbunden med huvudön via bilfärja som går mellan Mġarr på Gozo och Ċirkewwa på Malta och med helikopterförbindelse till Maltas flygplats Luqa.
