Gottfried Reiche
Gottfried Reiche (5 February 1667 – 6 October 1734) was a German trumpet player and composer of the Baroque era. He is best known for having been Johann Sebastian Bach's chief trumpeter at Leipzig from Bach's arrival there in 1723 until Reiche's death.

La sua fama si deve al fatto che fu il trombettista di Johann Sebastian Bach a Lipsia, dalla data di arrivo di Bach stesso (1723) nella città, sino alla morte di Reiche avvenuta nel 1734, per cui egli viene anche definito "il trombettista di Bach".
