God in Islam
In Islamic theology, God (Arabic: Allah) is the all-powerful and all-knowing creator, sustainer, ordainer, and judge of the universe. Islam emphasizes that God is strictly singular (tawhid) unique (wahid) and inherently One (ahad), all-merciful and omnipotent. According to Islamic teachings, God exists without place and according to the Qur'an, "No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. God is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things" (Qur'an 6:103) God, as referenced in the Qur'an, is the only God and the same God worshiped by members of other Abrahamic religions such as Christianity and Judaism. .

Dievs islama
Dievs (arābu valodā: ﷲ [alla:h]) islāmā ir neatkārtojams un nedalāms visuma radītājs un cilvēces tiesnesis. Atsevišķi musulmaņu speciālisti uzskata, ka vārdu Allāh tādā nozīmē, kādā to lieto islāmā, nedrīkst tulkot, jo šis vārds esot ārkārtēji svēts un īpaši aizsargājams termins.
