Madison Square Garden, often abbreviated as MSG, known colloquially simply as The Garden, has been the name of four arenas in New York City, United States. It is also the name of the entity which owns the arena and several of the professional sports franchises which play there. There have been four incarnations of the arena. The first two were located at the Northeast corner of Madison Square (Madison Ave. & 26th St.) from which the arena derived its name. Subsequently a new 17,000-seat Garden (opened December 15, 1925) was built at 50th Street and 8th Avenue, and the current Garden (opened February 14,  1968) is at 7th Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, situated on top of Pennsylvania Station. The present arena is informally known to some by the advertising slogan "The World's Most Famous Arena".

Le Madison Square Garden (souvent abrégé MSG, et familièrement connu comme The Garden) est une salle polyvalente new-yorkaise, située sur l’île de Manhattan. L'édifice est contrôlé par l'entreprise du même nom, Madison Square Garden, L.P., une filiale de Cablevision qui possède plusieurs franchises sportives professionnelles jouant au Garden. Dans l'histoire, il y a eu quatre bâtiments constituant le Madison Square Garden. Les deux premiers ont été situés au coin nord-est de Madison Square (sur Madison Avenue et la 26 rue), c'est de là que vient le nom de la salle. Plus tard un nouveau Garden de 15 000 places (ouvert le ) a été construit sur la 50 rue et 8 Avenue, puis le Garden actuel (ouvert le ) a été édifié sur la 7 Avenue entre les 31 et 33 rues, près de la Pennsylvania Station. La salle actuelle est officieusement connue comme The World's Most Famous Arena.

Madison Square Garden är en arena i New York City i USA. Den ligger på 7:e avenyn mellan 31:a och 33:e gatan på Manhattan. Publikkapaciteten är nästan 20 000 sittande vid basketmatcher och 18 000 sittande vid hockeymatcher. I byggnaden finns också en teater och restauranger, barer med mera. Den nuvarande byggnaden är den fjärde med samma namn. Platsen bebyggdes första gången på 1880-talet.
