Gilberto Gil
Gilberto Passos Gil Moreira (born June 26, 1942) is a Grammy Award-winning Brazilian singer, guitarist and songwriter. Gil is also the current Minister of Culture of the country. Gil is best known for his late 1960s tropicalismo recordings, including Roda, Lunik 9, and Domingo No Parque. Elis Regina has recorded many of the songs he wrote.
