Ghana
Ghana (tidligere Guldkysten) er et land i Vestafrika. Hovedstaden i Ghana er Accra. Landet grænser op til Elfenbenskysten mod vest, Burkina Faso mod nord, Togo mod øst og Atlanterhavet mod syd. Før kolonitiden bestod landet af en række  kongedømmer. Handel med europæiske lande blomstrede op efter kontakt med portugiserne i det 15. århundrede. Briterne etablerede en kronkoloni i 1874 og kaldte området for Guldkysten.
