Gerrit Rietveld
Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (24 June 1888–25 June 1964) was a Dutch furniture designer and architect. One of the principal members of the Dutch artistic movement called De Stijl, Rietveld is famous for his Red and Blue Chair and for the Rietveld Schröder House, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Gerrit Rietveld
Gerrit Rietveld, född 24 juni 1888 i Utrecht, Nederländerna, död 25 juni 1964 i Utrecht, var en nederländsk arkitekt och möbeldesigner. Medlem av konstnärsgruppen De Stijl (1917-1927).

Gerrit Rietveld
Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (ur. 24 czerwca 1888 w Utrechcie, zm. 26 czerwca 1964) był holenderskim architektem, projektantem i twórcą mebli.
Już w 1911, będąc jeszcze na studiach, Rietveld prowadził własną wytwórnię mebli. W 1917 pod wpływem neoplastycyzmu zaprojektował słynne czerwono-niebieskie krzesło, w 1919 przyłączył się do ruchu De Stijl. W 1924 Rietveld zaprojektował dom w Utrechcie dla Truus Schröder-Schräder, z którą współpracował.
