GeForce

GeForce is a brand of PC graphics chipsets designed by NVIDIA. The first GeForce products were designed and marketed for the high-margin computer gamer community, but later the product's releases expanded the product line to cover all tiers of the graphics market, from low-end to high-end.  As of 2007, there have been eight iterations of the design. It is the direct rival of ATi's Radeon series for the graphics processing chips market.

GeForce est le nom donné par nVidia à ses séries de cartes graphiques depuis 1999. La première GeForce était la GeForce 256. Lancée en automne 1999, elle fut la première carte vidéo grand public à pouvoir prendre en charge l'intégralité des calculs graphiques. De nombreuses séries et évolutions ont été commercialisées, et restent parmi les produits les plus connus en ce domaine.

Die Erdschwerebeschleunigung ist die Schwerebeschleunigung oder Fallbeschleunigung der Erde und wird auch kurz Erdbeschleunigung oder Erdschwere genannt. Sie gibt an, welcher Beschleunigung ein Körper beim freien Fall im Erdschwerefeld unterliegt. An der Erdoberfläche beträgt ihr Mittelwert g = 9,81 m/s2, variiert aber wegen Zentrifugalkraft, Erdabplattung und Höhenprofil regional um einige Promille.

GeForce (od Geometry Force) jest marką chipsetów graficznych dla komputerów osobistych sygnowanych przez firmę NVIDIA. Pierwsze produkty GeForce były przeznaczone dla wąskiej grupy społeczności graczy, lecz później firma rozszerzyła ofertę by zająć wszystkie poziomy rynku kart graficznych. Do lipca 2007 r. wydanych zostało osiem generacji układów GeForce poczynając od GeForce 256 a kończąc na najnowszych GeForce 9.

GeForce è il marchio adottato dalla NVIDIA Corporation per le proprie serie di GPU, largamente usate nella produzione di schede video per PC. Queste serie sono specializzate nei videogiochi e nelle applicazioni multimediali, e quindi specifiche per un uso casalingo. Per applicazioni professionali, l'azienda propone il marchio Quadro. Queste GPU si pongono in diretta competizione con la serie Radeon della rivale ATI Technologies (dal 2006 sotto controllo di AMD).
