Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase
Gamma-glutamyltransferase or gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (also γ-glutamyltransferase, GGT, GGTP, gamma-GT) is an enzyme that transfers gamma-glutamyl functional groups. It is found in many tissues, the most notable one being the liver, and has significance in medicine as a diagnostic marker.

Gamma glutamyl transpeptidase
La gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT ou GGTP, ou Gamma-GT ou γ-GT, etc.) est une enzyme hépatique. Cette enzyme est également présente dans d'autres tissus, tels l'épididyme. La détermination de son activité sérique permet d'indiquer (si cette activité est élevée) une anomalie du foie, bien que cela puisse également être du à d'autres états tels :
- Cholestase (congestion des voies biliaires)
- Éthylisme
- Cirrhose hépatique
- Restriction du flux sanguin vers le foie
- Nécrose hépatique
- Tumeurs hépatiques
- Hépatite
- Obésité
- Médicaments hépatotoxiques

G-glutamylotranspeptydaza
Gamma-glutamylotranspeptydaza, zwana w skrócie GGTP to enzym wskaźnikowy związany z przemianą aminokwasów. Podwyższenia jego stężenia spotykamy:
- upośledzeniu wydzielania enzymu z żółcią (żółtaczka zastoinowa, cholestaza wewnątrzwątrobowa i zewnątrzwątrobowa)
- intensywne nowotworzenie się tkanek czyli intensywna przemiana aminokwasów i białek (nowotwory o dużej dynamice wzrostu nowotwory wątroby, faza tworzenia się blizny po zawale mięśnia serca)
- w przypadku indukcji enzymów mikrosomalnych wątroby substancjami takimi jak leki (zwłaszcza przeciwpadaczkowe), alkohol.

Gamma glutamil transpeptidasa
La Gamma glutamil transpeptidasa (γ-GT / GGT / GGTP) ( 2.3.2.2) (links en inglés) es una enzima hepática. Su nivel en sangre puede ser medido, y un nivel elevado puede indicar una anormalidad en el hígado, aunque puede ser causado por varias condiciones.
Su nivel está incrementado en el abuso crónico y agudo de alcohol.
