Ga East District

The Ga East District is a district of Ghana in the Greater Accra Region. It is one of the 28 newly created districts and is located to the northwest of the region. It is bordered on the north by the Akuapim South District in the Eastern Region of Ghana. It is bordered on its other three sides by other districts in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. To the west is the Ga West District, to the south Accra Metropolis District and in the east the Tema Municipal District.

Dystrykt Ga East jest dystryktem w Regionie Greater Accra w Ghanie ze stolicą w Abokobi. Utworzony został pod koniec lat osiemdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku przez podział dystryktu Ga. Jest jednym z 28 niedawno utworzonych dystryktów i leży w północno-zachodniej części regionu. Od północy graniczy z dystryktem Akuapim South w Regionie Wschodnim, od zachodu z dystryktem Ga West, od południa z Dystryktem Stołecznym Akra, a od wschodu z okręgiem miejskim Tema.

Ga East District je jedním z 28 nove vytvorených distriktu v Ghane. Leží na severozápade regionu Vetší Akra. Místní parlamant má 11 clenu, predsedou distriktní správy je Kofi Allotey. Hlavním mestem je Abokobi, mesto založené presbyteriánskými misionári.
