GOOD FAITH

Good faith, or in Latin bona fides (the inflected forms bonae fidei and bona fide are also used), is the mental and moral state of honesty, conviction as to the truth or falsehood of a proposition or body of opinion, or as to the rectitude or depravity of a line of conduct, even if the conviction is objectively unfounded. This concept is important in law.

Guter Glauben (lat. bona fides) ist ein Begriff aus der Rechtswissenschaft. Bedeutung erlangt er vor allem beim Gutglaubensschutz, dabei handelt es sich um einen Vertrauensschutz in einen Rechtsschein.Das Fehlen von gutem Glauben bezeichnet man als Bösgläubigkeit.

Dobra wiara (łac.) bona fides) – jest domniemaniem prawnym i zarazem jednym z najważniejszych pojęć prawa cywilnego. W Polsce unormowana została w artykule 7 Kodeksu Cywilnego, który dzieli osoby na te będące w "dobrej" i te będące w "złej" wierze. Kryterium, według którego dokonuje się tego podziału jest stan psychiczny (nastawienie) osoby odnoszący się do jej wiedzy o istnieniu jakiegoś stosunku prawnego i/lub wynikającego z niego prawa podmiotowego.

La buena fe (del latín, bona fides) es un principio general del Derecho, consistente en el estado mental de honradez, de convicción en cuanto a la verdad o exactitud de un asunto, hecho u opinión, o la rectitud de una conducta. Ella exige una conducta recta u honesta en relación con las partes interesadas en un acto, contrato o proceso. En ocasiones se le denomina principio de probidad.
