GNP

Measures of national income and output are used in economics to estimate the value of goods and services produced in an economy. They use a system of national accounts or national accounting first developed during the 1940s. Some of the more common measures are Gross National Product (GNP), Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Gross National Income (GNI), Net National Product (NNP), and Net National Income (NNI). Formerly in the Soviet Union and its friendly states COMECON, Net Material Product (NMI) was estimated (NNP-Services). In relation to greening the national accounts the United States Congressional Budget Office concludes "a gradual process of modifying measures of national economic performance is consistent with the history and development of the national accounts."[1]

Produkt narodowy brutto (PNB, ang. GNP) - miara wartości wszystkich dóbr i usług finalnych wytworzonych przez obywateli danego państwa oraz przez osoby prawne z siedzibą na jego terenie niezależnie od tego, czy podmioty te działają w kraju, czy za granicą. Het Global Network of People living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+) is een wereldwijd netwerk voor en door mensen met HIV/AIDS. Het doel van GNP+ is het verbeteren van de levenskwaliteit van mensen die leven met HIV/AIDS. Het centrale secretariaat van de organisatie is in Amsterdam.GNP+ is gebaseerd op 'The Global Advocacy Agenda', die zich richt op het wereldwijd bevorderen van de toegang tot HIV zorg en geneesmiddelen, het bestrijden van stigmatisering en de discriminatie van mensen die leven met HIV/AIDS en de bevordering van hun betrokkenheid in beslissingen die hun leven en omgeving raken.
