Gem – najmniejsza część rozgrywki w meczu tenisa ziemnego, część seta. Aby zdobyć gema, należy wygrać cztery punkty, z przewagą dwóch punktów nad przeciwnikiem. Punkty w gemie liczone są następująco: 15, 30, 40, gem. Zatem gema można zdobyć do 0, 15 lub 30. Jeśli obydwie strony osiągną po 40 punktów, gra toczy się na przewagi. Remis taki to duece (równowaga). Wygrany punkt to advantage (przewaga). Kolejny, drugi z rzędu wygrany punkt, daje zawodnikowi gema.
