GAA

The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) (Irish: Cumann Lúthchleas Gael) is an organisation which is mostly focused on promoting Gaelic Games - traditional Irish sports, such as hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, handball, and rounders. The organisation also promotes Irish music and dance, and the Irish language. It is the largest and most popular organisation in Ireland with some 800,000 members out of the island's population of almost 6 million.

GAA - (ang. Goals Against Average). Statystyka sportowa używana w hokeju na lodzie, piłce nożnej i innych dyscyplinach określająca średnią ilość bramek na mecz wpuszczonych przez bramkarza. Aby wyliczyć tę średnią należy podzielić ilość minut spędzonych przez bramkarza na polu gry przez długość jednego spotkania. Otrzymaną ilość minut należy pomnożyć przez ilość bramek wpuszczonych przez tego bramkarza. Wartość tę podaje się z reguły do dwóch miejsc po przecinku.
