The Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front (FPMR), also known as El Frente Patriótico, or simply El Frente, is a left-wing urban guerrilla movement in Chile, named for a figure in Chile's independence movement, Manuel Rodríguez. The group was founded on September 14, 1983 as an armed resistance against the Pinochet regime by the Communist Party of Chile (PCCh). At its height, the FPMR was estimated to have between 1,000 and 1,500 members. Most of the guerrillas were jailed and tortured or disappeared. It has since become independent from the PCCh, and has joined the parliamentary system during the transition to democracy, participating in the Juntos Podemos Más left-wing coalition.

O grupo, que tem o nome da resistência ao regime colonial espanhol, em geral considerado como o braço-armado do Partido Comunista Chileno. Foi fundada em 1983 para criar uma organização militar em escala nacional, com o objetivo de liderar a resistência popular e promover o colapso da ditadura de Pinochet. Suas atividades variaram da propaganda armada ao assassinato. Em setembro de 1986, 25 membros do grupo desfecharam um ataque com metralhadoras e foguetes contra o presidente Augusto Pinochet, matando cinco dos seus seguranças.

El Frente Patriótico Manuel Rodríguez (conocido también por la sigla FPMR) es un grupo guerrillero de izquierda de Chile, que inició sus actividades el 14 de diciembre de 1983 causando un apagón (corte del suministro eléctrico) a nivel nacional. Tomó su nombre del héroe de la independencia chilena Manuel Rodríguez Erdoíza.
