Freaky Styley
Freaky Styley is the second studio album by American funk rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on August 16, 1985 on EMI America. The album name holds its origins in a commonly used phrase in the 80s to describe anything as being "freaky styley". Freaky Styley marks founding guitarist Hillel Slovak's studio album debut, following his return to the band earlier in the year. The album is also the last to feature drummer Cliff Martinez. Freaky Styley was produced by George Clinton, of Parliament-Funkadelic.

Freaky Styley
Freaky Styley ist das zweite Album der Red Hot Chili Peppers und wurde von George Clinton 1985 produziert. Das Album schaffte nie den Eintritt in die Billboard 200 Charts. Der Funk, früher wesentliches Element der Red Hot Chili Peppers, ist substanzieller Bestandteil dieser CD. Es sind komplette Bläsersätze zu hören, an denen auch Flea, eigentlich gelernter Trompeter, mitwirkt.

Freaky Styley
Freaky Styley est le deuxième album des Red Hot Chili Peppers, sorti en 1985. Celui-ci, produit par George Clinton du groupe P-Funk qui a apporté une forte influence funk à l'album, fut un échec commercial. La plupart des critiques l'ont complètement ignoré et Freaky Styley n'a jamais atteint le Billboard Top 200. Le single "Hollywood (Africa)" a permis au groupe de se faire connaître en Europe avec un succès modéré mais aux États-Unis il est passé relativement inaperçu. Toutefois, il reste très apprécié des fans de la première heure des Red Hot.

Freaky Styley
Freaky Styley - jest drugim albumem grupy Red Hot Chili Peppers z 1985, wydanym przez wytwórnię EMI America.
W nagraniu płyty jako gitarzysta wziął udział Hillel Slovak, a w roli producenta wystąpił funkowy guru George Clinton. Choć otwierający album Freaky Styley utwór Jungle Man jest w zwrotce trochę podobny do True Man Don't Kill Coyotes, to już na jego wysokości wiadomo, że nowy materiał pozbawiony jest wad debiutu. Pierwszy utwór wybrano na singel i wideoklip. Freaky Styley przynosi sporo niespodzianek. W Battle Ship to agresywna mieszanka funka z punk rockiem, dynamiczny jest też Catholic School Girls Rule (następny singel i wideoklip). Oba należą do najkrótszych utworów - pięć takich miniaturek występuje obok siebie. Wśród nich znajduje się też miniballada Lovin' And Touchin' oraz Sex Rap z bardzo gęstym, popisowym wstępem perkusyjnym i gitarowym solo.
