Fotomontage

Die Fotomontage ist eine spezielle Form der Collage, die ganz oder zum großen Teil aus Fotografien oder Teilen von Fotografien und objets trouvés besteht. Oftmals dient sie der Satire. Der Begriff kommt aus dem Umfeld der industriellen Zivilisation und erinnert bewusst an Maschinenmontage und Turbinenmontage (Gustavs Klucis, 1932).
