Phocis (Greek, Modern: Φωκίδα/Fokída, Ancient/Katharevousa: Φωκίς/Phokis; named after the Greek mythological personage Phocus) is an ancient district of central Greece and a prefecture of modern Greece located in Sterea Hellas, one of the thirteen peripheries of Greece.

La Phocide (en grec ancien : Φωκίς / Phôkís, en grec moderne Φωκίδα / Phôkída) est une petite région de Grèce centrale, à l'ouest de la Béotie, dont le rôle dans l'histoire grecque fut important, puisque Delphes s'y trouvait, dont elle perdit parfois le contrôle, en s'impliquant dans les guerres sacrées.

Die Präfektur Fokida (; Fokis oder Phokis) ist eine der 51 Präfekturen in Griechenland. Der Verwaltungssitz der Präfektur (Hauptstadt) ist die Stadt Amfissa, zugleich die größte Stadt der Präfektur.

Phokis war eine antike Gebirgslandschaft in Mittelgriechenland. Sie hatte eine Fläche von ca. 1615 km². Da Phokis nicht reich an natürlichen Ressourcen war, rührte seine Bedeutung vorwiegend von religiösen Faktoren her: dem Orakel von Delphi.

Fokida lub Focyda (nowogr. Φωκίδα, starogr. ) – kraina w środkowej Grecji nad Zatoką Koryncką, w której wznoszą się góry Parnas i Kirfis. Kraina należała w starożytności do Związku Etolskiego. Głównymi miastami były Elateja i ośrodek religijny Delfy. Według mitologii w tej krainie Prometeusz ulepił człowieka.

Fokida (Modern Grieks: Φωκίδα/Fokída; Oud-Grieks: Φωκίς/Phokis; Latijn: Phocis) is een historische Griekse landstreek en een departement (nomos) in de Griekse regio Centraal-Griekenland. De hoofdstad is Amphissa en het departement heeft 48.284 inwoners (2001).
