Fenway Park

Fenway Park is the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball club. The park, the oldest of all current Major League Baseball stadiums, opened in 1912, and this season, 2007, marks Fenway's 95th birthday. Fenway hosted the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in 1946, 1961, and 1999, and has played host to nine World Series. Fenway is regarded as one of the most historic and tradition-rich stadiums in all of sports.

Le Fenway Park est un stade de baseball situé dans le quartier de Fenway à Boston, dans le Massachusetts. Le stade fut inauguré le et sa contruction coûta quelque 650 000 dollars. Il est toujours en service aujourd'hui, ce qui fait de lui le plus vieux stade du baseball majeur depuis que le Tiger Stadium de Detroit (qui a été inauguré le même jour que Fenway Park) a été démoli. Il est le domicile des Red Sox de Boston.

Fenway Park ist das Heimstadion des US-amerikanischen Major League-Baseball-Teams der Boston Red Sox. Es steht im Stadtviertel Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts. Eröffnet wurde der Fenway Park am 20. April 1912, er ist somit das älteste Baseballstadion, das immer noch benutzt wird. Der Zuschauerrekord mit 47.627 Besuchern wurde am 22. September 1935, beim Spiel gegen die New York Yankees, aufgestellt.

Fenway Park is het honkbalstadion van de Boston Red Sox.Fenway Park opende op 12 april 1912 samen met het niet meer in gebruik zijnde Tiger Stadium van de Detroit Tigers. Dit maakt Fenway Park het oudste nog steeds gebruikte stadion van Major League Baseball. Karakteristiek aan het stadion is de grote groene muur, "The green monster", aan het einde van het linksveld.
