"Faith / Pureyes" is the second single released by Yuna Ito. It's a double a-side single that features the two songs "Faith" and "Pureyes". "Faith" is a dark, emotional ballad whereas "Pureyes" is more of an up-beat, pop tune. "Faith" was the ending theme for the Japanese drama, "UNFAIR", whereas "Pureyes" was featured in the BIOCLEN ZERO contact lenses CM."Faith / Pureyes" debuted at #4 but fell down the charts in the following days. It ultimately placed at #6 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and sold close to 23,000 copies its first week.

Also, Vates are known as those that rejoice in the freewill of others.According to Strabo, [2] Diodorus Siculus, [3] and Poseidonius, the vates (ουατεις) were one of three classes of Celtic priesthood, the other two being the druids and the bards. The Vates had the role of seers and performed sacrifices (in particular administering human sacrifice), under the presidence of a druid. Their role therefore corresponded to that of an Adhvaryu in Vedic religion. Celtic Vates is continued by Irish fáith "prophet, seer"[4].

Le vate, dans la société celtique protohistorique est un membre de la classe sacerdotale, au même titre que les druides et les bardes. Leur nom (du latin vatis, du grec ouateis) est un mot d’origine gauloise qui désigne un devin, un prophète, un oracle. Il correspond au gallois gwawd, et à l’irlandais fàith. La racine *uat- a également donné le germanique Wotan (Odin chez les Scandinaves). Le mot se retrouve chez Strabon (IV, 4, 4), Pline (Histoire naturelle XXX, 13), Lucain (Pharsale I, 448), Ammien Marcellin (XV, 9) et, avant lui, Timagène.

Als Glaube (auch Glauben) bezeichnet man jegliche Vorstellungen von Transzendenz, die jenseits wissenschaftlicher Erklärungsmuster liegen. Glauben umfasst eine Grundhaltung des Vertrauens und der vorbehaltlosen Bejahung gegenüber Wesen, Werten und Zielen. Faith è il terzo album dei Cure, rock band britannica ancora in attività che ha visto l'apice del successo a cavallo degli anni '80 - '90. L'album è stato pubblicato il 14 aprile 1981; viene spesso messo in relazione con l'album successivo, Pornography, di cui anticipa, in forma attenuata, le atmosfere goth e malinconiche. Il tema portante dell'album è la perdita della fede e il desiderio di ritrovarla. Album fatto di toni scarni fino all'osso e corredato da una produzione ancora più essenziale. Sensazioni contrastanti basate sul contrasto del post-punk di cui è intrisa la proposta dei Cure e l'atmosfera goticheggiante che, mai come in questo lavoro, sarà predominante nella carriera di Robert Smith e soci.
